🏔️ About Our Paydirt
Is the paydirt salted?
No. Our paydirt is natural material from our private site in the Chloride Mining District, AZ. Every flake of gold is exactly where nature put it over millions of years. We never add or enhance gold content artificially.
How much gold will I find?
Yields vary by bag. Some SKUs include a stated guarantee; if not stated, please assume natural variance. Our paydirt is assay-verified at 0.8–1.1 oz Au per ton, and each product listing shows the guaranteed gold content for that package size.
What mesh/size is the material?
Typical runs are ¼″ minus with fines and flakes. Check the product page for mesh notes per batch. This size is optimal for gold panning and ensures you get both visible flakes and fine gold.
Where exactly does the gold come from?
Our paydirt comes from our private 10-acre claim at the base of the historic Chloride mines in Mohave County, Arizona. The Chloride Mining District has been producing gold and silver since the 1860s. We provide GPS coordinates and batch documentation with every order.
📦 Ordering & Shipping
How fast do you ship?
We process in 1–3 business days and ship via USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL. Tracking provided. Domestic orders typically arrive within 3-7 business days depending on your location.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within the United States. For international orders, please contact us at gabe@optikgoldinc.com to discuss options and shipping arrangements.
What's your return policy?
We stand behind our product 100%. If you're not satisfied with your paydirt, contact us within 30 days and we'll make it right. However, we've never had a customer not find gold because our paydirt is authentic and verified.
How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can use this to track your package through the carrier's website.
📜 Certificates & Verification
Can I get a certificate?
Yes—every batch ships with a Certificate of Authenticity. Scan the QR code on your certificate to view the live certificate page with full batch information, GPS coordinates, and assay results.
How do I verify my batch?
Each order includes a batch ID (e.g., OG-2025-001). You can verify your batch on our Batch Verification page or Certificate Lookup page using your order number and batch ID.
What does the assay documentation show?
Our professional assay documentation confirms gold content of 0.8–1.1 oz Au per ton (approximately 27-37 ppm). This is third-party verified and documented for each batch.

I'm a beginner. How do I pan for gold?

What equipment do I need?
At minimum, you need a gold pan (10-14 inch), a container for water, and a snuffer bottle or tweezers. Optional but helpful: classifier screens, magnifying glass, and a black sand magnet. See our panning guide for detailed equipment recommendations.
How long does it take to pan a bag?
It depends on the size and your experience level. A 1 oz bag might take 15-30 minutes for beginners, while a 1 lb bag could provide several hours of panning enjoyment. Take your time and enjoy the process!

Do you sell by the ton?
Yes. See Bulk & Wholesale for pricing and specs. We offer commercial-scale supply for refineries, wholesale buyers, and large operations with pricing from $500-550/ton depending on volume.
Can I get samples for bulk orders?
Absolutely! We offer 5-10 lb samples for commercial buyers. Email us at gabe@optikgoldinc.com with your requirements and we'll arrange sample verification.
What's the minimum bulk order?
Our bulk pricing starts at 1 ton. Material is packaged in 1-ton super sacks, FOB Kingman, Arizona. We have 200+ tons currently available with ongoing production capacity.

Why does paydirt cost more than the gold value?
Great question! The price includes collection, screening, assay verification, packaging, documentation, and the panning experience itself. You're not just buying gold—you're buying an authentic prospecting experience with verified Arizona gold.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal through our secure Shopify checkout. For bulk orders over $10,000, we can arrange wire transfer or ACH payment.
